P4s had a lovely afternoon digging up the potatoes they planted last year when they were in P3 with Mrs Kernan. Trowels and forks were blurs as they dug furiously to find the spuds. When the first purdy was uncovered a shout of, "I've struck gold!" went up and the excitement was off the scale. They all got some to take home and enjoy with their dinner.
