Good morning everyone -

Two amazing articles on Newsdesk this morning. We have all heard of the Titanic and today a story about a message in a bottle being found a year after it sank is amazing. There's a time lapse video of a boy building a model of the famous ship with lego which is fascinating to watch. Could you copy him? Usually at this time of year P7s are making their models, but instead this year they have been designing and building cruise ships.

On Junior Newsdesk there's a fun challenge to make shadow drawings. In Victorian times, people loved to make silhouette drawings. We've made these before in school and are very eye-catching. You could have a go at this with a little help from someone at home.

I hope that your parents have been able to read about having a routine while you are at home. A little sheet was available to download and it's available in the home learning section of our website. Hopefully the website is working a little more quickly today.

Remember to keep praying for those people who are sick, and those who continue to work in the services that everyone depends upon. We should also remember those people who are still on their own and if you can get in touch with anyone you know who is alone via phone, letter, e-mail, facetime, now, over the next few days is the time to do so. The rain will give us even more time inside.

Thanks for the photos. Any more, please send to: info@stpatrickspssaul.downpatrick.ni.sch.uk

Stay safe!

PS I'm sure you loved yesterdays joke. Today's has an exam theme.

How do you get straight A's?

Use a ruler of course!
