Nicholas from Trócaire visited us at assembly on Friday and told us the story of Malita and her twins Patrick & Patricia. They live in Malawi and will benefit greatly from the monies raised by us during our Lenten appeal. Malawi is amongst the poorest countries in the world and suffers greatly from water stress meaning they are particularly vulnerable to drought and extreme weather events. When we think of just how easily we can access clean and safe water, their plight is even worse.
