Thursday 9th April 2020

9th Apr 2020

Good morning

Normally we would have had all our Easter Egg raffles done and dusted by now. We'd also have had our special raffle in the school hall. Special prizes such as post its, cereal, pens, pencils, envelopes (unused) and of course there's usually a solid stainless steel teaspoon! (Thanks for the reminder Mrs McC) We'll have to do that when we get back though.

Teachers will be back in touch with you from Monday 20th April, so in the meantime there's no need to stress about any work that has been sent home, unless you'd like to catch up.

Instead it's now time to focus fully on you and your family's wellbeing. Even though there are times when we all need a little space, we should use the Easter break as a time when we can hopefully get to know each other even better. If you haven't started your My 2020 Covid-19 Time Capsule, you can still download it form the link below.

It has a page called All About Me that your whole family could complete. Perhaps you could even ring your grandparents, aunties, uncles and make a family record? There's even a 'Letter to Myself,' that could be very interesting to look back on and then a couple of pages for your parents to do as well. Have a wee look and I think you'll enjoy it.

This weekend we look forward to a very different Easter. We are unable to attend the various Easter ceremonies in the church but thankfully Fr Alexander will still be celebrating and we can join him via the webcam.
