P6 enjoyed a fantastic day at the Down County Musuem today. The children created vibrant St. Patrick’s Day masks with the wonderful support of Philip and Charlene from the Down Arts Council, who helped guide and inspire their designs. The class also explored what life was like during the Viking times, examining a wide range of fascinating artefacts that brought their learning to life. As part of their visit, children were given a guided tour of the museum, helping them to deepen their understanding of local history.
We are all now looking forward to taking part in this year’s St. Patrick’s Day parade, where the children will proudly showcase their wonderful masks and celebrate together as a school community.
