At today's assembly Mr McGrath spoke about the importance of looking after something very precious, that sometimes we take for granted. Books! We heard about a very special book that Matthew in P5 received at Christmas, actually signed by David Walliams! When we are given or borrow books from school, we really must take good care of them and ensure that they are returned in perfect condition so that others may enjoy them after we have finished with them.
It was then lovely to hear that so many children received their awards this week for excellent reading. During January when everyone seems to be on a new fitness kick, the boys and girls are truly exercising their minds. Keep it up.
