Primary 7 Lighting the Way with Faith & Commitment

Our Primary 7s took part in the Service of Light and Commitment this week as they prepare for Confirmation in May. The celebration included a Gospel reading about being a light for others, followed by the children making their promises to grow in faith, kindness, and understanding of the Holy Spirit.

During the Ceremony of Light, parents passed a lit candle to the children, symbolising the sharing of faith and guidance. Prayers were offered for the pupils, their families, teachers, and the wider school community.

The service was a meaningful step on our P7s Confirmation journey, highlighting the strong partnership between home, school, and parish.
