P1 have been learning all about the topic of birthdays this term.
In their play they had lots of different birthday activities.
In the role play area they had to set out a party for the group. Each person had to have a hat, plate, napkin and cup. Then the party food had to be shared out equally ( this was tricky at times). After all that hard work they were able to sing Happy Birthday and have a mini party together. Mrs. D then read the group a birthday story.
The rest of the class were also very busy making party hats, birthday cards for their friends, adding candles to the cakes, making party lists and painting birthday cakes.
To finish the topic off, we had a class party and wore our fab party hats.
A great way to finish the first half term of P1.
