We were thrilled to be invited by Jenny and the team at St Patrick’s Legamaddy to take part in their very first P5 Boys Gaelic Football Competition. Excitement was in the air as our boys proudly wore the school kit for the very first time—what a moment!
The matches, held at Bright GAC, were a joy to watch. Every team showcased fantastic skills—catching, hand-passing, movement, tackling, blocking, kicking, and support play—with a level of teamwork and talent that could rival many county teams!
Our boys gave it their all and delivered a thrilling performance in the final, edging out the hosts in a nail-biting finish decided in the last two minutes. Their scoring ability was outstanding, and it made all the difference as they brought home the cup!
A huge thank you to Jenny and the staff at Legamaddy for organising such a brilliant event, and to our wonderful parents for helping with transport. Most importantly, well done to our amazing team—you did us proud!
