P4 (or should I say the monks of P4) had a ball today visiting the local sites associated with St Patrick. We sang Hail Glorious St Patrick where St Patrick started his ministry on the site of Saul Church, we explored the site of one of the most ancient churches in Ireland at St Tassach's Church, 'worked' as monks in the Cistercian monastery of Inch Abbey (ask a P4 what job they were assigned to do by the abbot!), sang some Gregorian chant, were hosted by Clive in Down Cathedral and visited St Patrick's grave. Thank you to the ladies of Saul Tea & Chat for allowing us to wear the fabulous costumes and to Clive in Down Cathedral for explaining all the 'quirks' of the Cathedral.
