P4 have had great fun learning about the 'olden days' through our Houses and Homes topic. We explored a Victorian Laundry day by washing shirts using a washboard and cast iron washtub, squeezed them through the mangle, let them dry on the clotheshorse and then 'ironed' them using an antique, black, cast iron! We also celebrated two birthday girls with a Victorian tea party - cheers!
