P7 Shine at Downpatrick Credit Union Schools’ Quiz
Our P7 pupils did St Patrick's proud at the annual Downpatrick Credit Union Schools’ Quiz last week. Both teams showed fantastic teamwork, quick thinking, and determination throughout a very competitive morning in Lecale Trinity Grammar School.
Team B competed in the older age category and finished in second place after two intense tie‑breakers, demonstrating impressive knowledge and composure under pressure. Ava, Maisie, Roman and Emily were ahead at the halfway stage and were just pipped at the post.
In the younger age group, Team A secured first place, battling through three tie‑breakers in a thrilling finish. Ahead throughout it took three tie breakers for Abigail, Emily, Owen and Adam to secure the win and qualification for the Ulster Final!
We are incredibly proud of both teams for representing our school so brilliantly. Their hard work and team spirit were clear to see — well done, everyone!
