After a ding dong battle in the final, Tyrone are our inaugural Lunchtime League Champions! Their final against runners up Antrim was a true classic, with only one point separating them at the end and a blocked shot just on the final whistle it was right to the wire! Tyrone were undefeated throughout the competition and in spite of being a man down for part of the final, played as a team, with each player contributing to the victory. Antrim can be very proud of their performance and actually led for most of the final.
The competition proved that the future of Gaelic football is bright! Thanks to Mr Cunningham and Miss McCullough for refereeing and to our PTFA for sponsoring the beautiful trophy and medals for the finalists. They will be presented after Easter.
