A very different First Holy Communion this year as we celebrated with the P4s and their parents over two days, Saturday & Sunday. The P4s were brilliant as ever and in spite of some nerves they knew exactly what they had to do.
During his sermon, Fr Alexander spoke about Carlos Acutis the teenager who has been beatified and may soon become a saint. Carlos was a teenager when he died and in his short life accomplished many things. He spoke passionately about being close to God and said: "If we get in front of the sun, we get sun tans...but when we get in front of Jesus in the Eucharist we become saints." We had new class of little saints this weekend.

Thanks to their parents, Fr Alexander and Mrs Jordan. They will head to Mass in the morning with all of their classmates.
