Fire fighter Ian from Downpatrick fire station visited P5 today and told us all about how to keep ourselves and our families fire safe. We learned about the importance of having a smoke alarm and checking that the batteries are working. Do you know that you should only leave 3 appliances plugged in overnight? Ask any P5 which appliances these are. We know about closing downstairs doors before going to bed and we talked about the importance of having a fire escape plan.
