We gathered in the church to pray for Deacon Thomas who will be ordained a priest this Sunday coming. Deacon Thomas was christened as a baby in Ballycruttle and we are very proud that a man from our parish of Saul and Ballee will be ordained as a priest for our diocese this weekend. Primary 4 and Primary 5 hosted the service along with Fr Aidan and Deacon Jackie as we prayed for Thomas and not only his vocation, but for others to follow.
Mass of Thanksgiving will be celebrated by Thomas on Monday evening at 7pm in St Patrick's Church, Saul. There will be refreshments served afterwards in the school hall and everyone is welcome.

Dear God Thank you for Thomas. Thank you for calling him to be a priest. Bless him as he prepares for ordination. Fill him with your love. Help him to be kind and faithful. Help him to bring people closer to Jesus. Bless his family, our parish and our school. Amen.
