Our girls headed to St Mary's GAC Burren for the Cuman na mBunscol indoor county finals on Friday. They started the first game against St Malachy's Kilcoo nervously and were narrowly beaten in a great game. Heads were slightly down and with their next game against an extremely talented St Bronagh's Rostrevor they were beaten again. This bunch of girls are made of strong stuff and went out to beat Ballyholland PS and St Joseph's Carryduff to finish third in the group. Both teams who beat us ended up in the final with St Bronagh's champions for 2024.
Our girls demonstrated their potential in all games with some excellent passing and support play. We can't wait until we get out on the grass in the spring! Hopefully it won't be as tiring as this was - see photos!
