During the Halloween break Lucy (P3), went with her dad to the new Recycling centre in Downpatrick. She entered a competition run by Newry, Mourne & Down Council to win a Kindle or FitBit. Lucy told her dad that she was sure she would win it as she had answered all the questions correctly.
Today Lucy went with her mum and dad to collect her prize. She was right! She picked out a Kindle with 1,000 books already on it. That should keep her busy over Christmas. Well done Lucy, we are so proud of you and perhaps a wee bit jealous of your great prize!
Remember to recycle carefully over the Christmas holidays when there will be a lot of wrapping paper etc to recycle.
