Our last assembly of the school year was a busy one as we presented certificates and said farewell to our P7s. It was lovely to see so many happy faces as children received their certs and the P7 memory lane photos flicked past in the back ground. At the end we all said a special prayer:
Dear God,
Thank you for the journey we have shared through our years at St Patrick's.
For the friends we’ve made, the lessons we’ve learned, and the memories we’ll carry with us.
As we prepare to move on to our new schools and new adventures, new challenges
Give us courage when we feel nervous,
Wisdom to make good choices,
And kindness to treat others well.
Help us to remember that we are never alone –
That You walk with us, guide us, and love us always.
Bless our teachers, our families, and everyone who has helped us grow.
May we take all we’ve learned and use it to shine brightly in the world.
Amen.
