Good morning/maidin mhaith

Another day with bright sunshine to greet us. The weather has been amazing since we've been learning at home and I hope that you are spending time in the garden. I have seen some of you taking on football challenges and today you'll see some great pictures of Robyn in the garden. Gardening club only got started but she's kept her green fingers!

On Newsdesk today the P7s will be delighted to see the theme is Harry Potter. I read all of the books and I'm so old that I even queued outside Waterstones in Belfast for two of the books, Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix.  I haven't been to Harry Potter world but I know some of you have. There's a video on Newsdesk that looks amazing.

I've seen all of the films as well, but much prefer the books. How many books that have been made into movies do you know of? Which ones do you prefer? I enjoyed The Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies and the books equally for example.

On Junior Newsdesk there's a very interesting Easter poem and a challenge to write your own. Start by making a bank of Easter words like the one shown. I'd love to see yours when you've finished.

Thanks for the photos that keep coming in and I hope I haven't missed any. Send to: info@stpatrickspssaul.downpatrick.ni.sch.uk

Tomorrow is the last day of 'school' before the Easter holidays. I sent a letter out last night with a wee update for you via the school app. Please make sure you have downloaded it and receive notifications when we send them out.

Please remember to keep praying for those who are sick and caring for them at this time. Remember also in your prayers everyone who is struggling through at the moment. Look after yourselves and take care.
