I hope everyone is still well.

Newsdesk and Junior Newsdesk today are about animals, but very different ones. Dragons and Rabbits. Dragons are very mystical creatures and there's a useful video showing you how to draw one. I'd love to see your efforts. Peter Rabbit is on Junior Newsdesk. The Beatrix Potter series of books are really lovely and the illustrations bring the stories about Peter and all of his friends to life. There's a great wee video and follow up questions that should keep you busy for a while today.

Please remember to send in any photos to: info@stpatrick'spssaul.downpatrick.ni.sch.uk

The two Adams have been visited by some of Victor's friends. I hope he made it to Belfast and hasn't been visiting anyone else. He was in Adam's house before making it to school.

Maisie has shared a lovely picture for Holy Week and Adam1 has been working on a brilliant picture with his dad. Donnacha's rainbow certainly made me smile and Dearbhla thinks I should read The Tiger Who Came to Tea after meeting Victor yesterday! There is so much talent out there!

I've included a download of a workbook that Mrs Kernan shared with her class yesterday. As we know, we are living through some very strange times. we are living through a very historical time for the world. P5s were studying World War 2 and they were learning about the huge adjustments people had to make to their lives. For evacuation we could compare to staying at home for instance. Not being allowed to travel too far is a bit like having a curfew. There are a lot of comparisons. We are all living through history right now. Wouldn't it be great to have a record of what we did? The Covid-19 Time Capsule can be downloaded and completed. It would be a lovely record to show your children when you grow older!

There's also a link to Thinkyouknow and useful worksheets that can be used at home.

Remember to keep those who are sick and our keyworkers in your prayers.

Stay safe.
