A belated good morning everyone.

Another week draws to a close and we are really doing so well staying at home and looking after each other. Keep it up. Remember what we've said about respecting everyone at home like you do in school and keep doing your best. Also try to remember to help out as much as possible. I'm sure that by now you'll have a routine at home to make sure you know what you're doing as the hours go by.

I got caught up with Junior Newsdesk this morning after I finally got logged in. Please check your messages via the school app as there's updated instructions on how to log in to My School after yesterday's difficulties. If it's not working for you, you'll need to create a new password. If you're not having any bother, then you're fine!

On Junior Newsdesk it's all about Dance, dance, dance. I really enjoyed the Sonic dance, "Gotta go Fast!" The cookie boogie was also pretty good. The message is that we need to keep active while we're at home. Creating an obstacle course in your garden is a great idea. When I was at primary school, most of our games coincided with whatever sport was on TV. It was mostly football, but when Wimbledon was on we played tennis. When the Ashes were on we played cricket. When the Five nations (I know it's six now) was on we'd play rugby. My favourite though was when the Horse of the Year show was on we'd play showjumping! Nick Skelton, Harvey Smith, David Vine - I'm sure your grandparents would remember it. It seems very silly now, but why don't you try it? It's great fun having jumps and obstacles to run around, over, through. Take a photo, video and send it in.

Over on the main Newsdesk today's article is about the internet. I don't think that we have ever used it just as much as we are at the moment. I know staying at home would be much more difficult without it. There's a competition today to design and make your own laptop. If you take a photo of yours, send it to the Newsdesk competitions page and send me a copy for our website as well.

Thanks for all of the brilliant photos you have been sending in. Some amazing work. Poor old Adam in P4 had to work in a tree yesterday! Flynn likes working with his cowboy hat on! Send photos to: info@stpatrickspssaul.downpatrick.ni.sch.uk

Mrs Jordan has uploaded some useful guidance for next week. It's really hard to believe that it's Palm Sunday this weekend. You can watch Mass as usual on Sunday via the parish webcam and keep Fr Alexander company while he's in the church. Keep praying for those people who are sick and those who are looking after them. Please say your prayers as well for all of those who are ensuring we still have food on the table and everything we need to get through this difficult time.

Lastly, leave the old tablet/laptop alone over the weekend and we'll be back in touch on Monday!

Stay safe!
