Congratulations to our P7s and our friends from St Joseph's who were confirmed in St Patrick's Church today. Chief celebrant Fr John Murray from Downpatrick, along with our own Fr Alexander, ensured the service was one to remember. Hopefully with the help of their parents and sponsors, they will be able to open the gift of the Holy Spirit and use it as they make their way through the challenges ahead. Fr Murray explained very well, the importance of using the gift that they had received during the celebration.
The boys and girls were a credit to their families, their teachers and classroom assistants. We are so proud of them.
Thanks to all of the choir who sand so beautifully along with Mrs Rosemary Hetherington on guitar. Thanks to everyone who helped with the setting up in the school hall and to everyone who donated the beautiful spread - it was really enjoyable.
Another milestone passed for our great P7s.
